Who Am I ...

I believe our lives have purpose, a refining journey.  I have been a Child of God's since 1987 but in 2016 I came to believe God loves me and began to live this truth ... Father wants His voice to be heard as experienced through my refining.  I desire His Words be what you hear and not mine.  I hope for you to see His reflection expressed through my experiences, empathy and passion.  It is my intent to always back up what I share with scripture.

Following is a poem I wrote,  inspired by the book 'Hinds Feet In High Places' by Hannah Hurnard: 

No Longer Much Afraid ... My Journey Up Mount Veritas

My Shepherd1 took me by the hand and sat me at His feet ...

If you will but trust in Me, your journey you'll complete
He led me to a path; I would not choose to go ...

My journey to the precipice, so far from here below

Walking through the Valley of Shadow, shrouded in doubts and fears ...

Suffering and Sorrow were my companions, my strength amidst the tears. 

Along the Sea of Loneliness, amid the roaring waves ...

I learned a new song, it's called the Sacrifice of Praise

Plodding thru the desert, tired, thirsty in need of rest ...

My heart opened to His Spirit and I find I'm truly blessed

High on the path I'm caught between Bitterness and Pride ...

I found my faith slipping, fallen by the wayside

Rain, fog, thunder clashing, wind whipping through the trees ...

I have nothing left but to humbly … fall upon my knees

From this place I raise my head, no longer Much Afraid ...

For Suffering and Sorrow have become Joy and Peace

One day the Shepherd will take my hand; my journey will be complete ...

For I will be His Shepherdess, in His presence, His Glory and Grace
